Choose your capsule size and grid, then download the matching OpenSCAD file. The design includes a filling tray, cap piston, tamper, scraper and a small coupon for checking the fit before committing to the full print.

From file to print
#

  1. Start with the fit coupon for your capsule size. Use it to check the clearances against your printer and actual capsules.
  2. Open the downloaded .scad file in OpenSCAD. Adjust the fit variables near the top if needed, keeping the same values for every matching part.
  3. Select the part with PART, render it, and export as STL for your slicer. Print each part separately; the “all” layout is for inspecting the set and can exceed your build plate.

The cap piston prints with its pockets facing up; the tamper prints with its pins facing up. The tamper’s flat back also acts as the final lock press.

The preview is a top-down grid guide. Dimensions come from the supplied model; fit still depends on your printer and capsules. Size 5 uses a 6.3 mm tamper depth because its shorter body cannot accommodate the default 8 mm pins.

Download the original source. Set SIZE to your capsule size, N for a square grid, or COLS and ROWS for a rectangle. BED is your build plate size in millimetres. For size 5, also set TAMP_DEPTH = 6.3. The remaining fit and structure settings are documented in the file.
